Dust & Health of the People of Groote Eylandt In response to poor early childhood development outcomes in a community living in close proximity to a mining operation, the Anindilyakwa Land Council (ALC) sought independent scientific advice as to whether possible metals in the dust might be affecting motor control and cognitive abilities in the Anindilyakwa people.
